Challenge

Semi-automate a hydraulic press with precise position and pressure sensing, real-time display, and a manufacturable cost.

Approach

STM32F4 with a high-precision linear encoder and ADC front-end, split into a cost-tiered, modular two-board architecture (high-current controller + controlled-impedance data board).

Result

~5 um position accuracy; a modular product so customers buy only the capability they need.
