A wireless vitals monitor inside an egg

Challenge

A circular board that fits inside a regular duck egg to monitor incubation vitals across a 12-acre farm, over direct RF (no Wi-Fi), with thousands of nodes that never collide, running 3+ months on a tiny internal battery — all electronics, battery, and antenna inside the shell.

Approach

A micro circular PCB, a direct sub-GHz scheme with a collision-free multi-node protocol, and aggressive power optimization.

Result

A full system (PCB, firmware, algorithms) delivered end to end.
