Challenge

A tiny, power-efficient wearable to measure velocity and movement for strength training, targeting higher accuracy than the established category device.

Approach

nRF52 + 6-DOF IMU with sensor fusion and movement classification, modeled in MATLAB then optimized in C++, streaming to a BLE app.

Result

A high-accuracy VBT wearable developed over an ~18-month program on the nRF52 platform.
